The Tao of Rays: Light scattering is always fascinating. Above images are the visulization of 10 thousands rays scattered by a waterdroplet(left) and a bubble(right). Here is something which may worth your wondering: Supposing that the waterdrop and bubble can merge together, there would be nothing to scatter light. But when you seperate them, rich scattering patterns can emerge. Just like Yin and Yang in the ancient philosophy, diversity emerge from none.

The giclée print (looks much better actually) of this art work on bamboo paper has been displayed in Art from the Republic of Science (2013) & WEST Austin Studio Show (2013) thanks to the Art Science Gallery .
