Large Magellanic Cloud Near-Infrared Synoptic Survey

I am the PI of an NSF-funded project to study the Cepheids and long-period variables in the Large Magellanic Cloud at near infrared wavelengths. As part of a collaboration with Profs. Shashi Kanbur (SUNY-Oswego) and Chow-Choong Ngeow (National Central University of Taiwan) we carried out a synoptic survey of the bar region of the Large Magellanic Cloud using the CPAPIR camera at the CTIO 1.5-m telescope. Here are some links to results from this project:

M33 Synoptic Stellar Survey

I am the PI of an NSF-funded project to study the Cepheids and long-period variables in M33 both at optical and near infrared wavelengths. Here are some links to results from this project:

Supernovae & H0 for the Equation of State of Dark Energy

I am part of the SH0ES project (PI: Adam Riess), which aims to measure the Hubble constant with a total uncertainty of 2% or better. This will allows to better constrain the properties of dark energy. We have published the following papers:
